Oooooh, let’s see…OH! I don’t think I shared this with anyone on tumblr yet, but on summer vacation before my senior year of high school, I went on a school trip to Florence, Italy for 3 ½ weeks with a group of girls from my school (with two teachers), came home for literally 24 hours, and then hopped on another plane with ANOTHER group of kids and chaperones to go to Lourdes, Frances. (FYI: for anyone who doesn’t know, look up St. Bernadette in Lourdes, Frances or shoot me an ask and I can always explain.)

Ah frick ok lemme think uhhhhh I was in Hawaii on a school trip and I was sitting by myself at a table next to Waikiki Beach. Some old gross guy who was possibly drunk/high/something, which I don’t get cuz it was like 10 am there, came up to me and asked me something all slurred along the lines of “whyyyyy arya talkin’ ta meeee ifya don’t have m'phone number???” I was reasonably creeped out and told him not to talk to me again and I was leaving now. Luckily he just laughed and didn’t try to stop me from speedwalking away. It was a weird experience. Argh tagging people is so awkward for me but I guess(?) My one thing is that I’ve learned to free-fly, phase through objects, summon artifacts, and use basic object manipulation in my lucid dreams! I’m still working on it, but when it happens, it’s very fun.

There’s a petition out to get rid of the Best Stuff First option on Tumblr in order to defend the artists out there who have dropped in notes/exposure.

This has been devistating to many content creators on this site. Artists and writers are making posts that their own followers may not see because their dashboard is clogged up with other posts with 5000-or-more-ish notes that automatically show up at the top, regardless of the cronoligal order in which they were posted.
Helping creators get noticed is such an incredibly vital thing for them to keep doing what they do. I wouldn’t have made more than 8 updates to my comic if not for the encouragement from other users on this site.
Please consider adding your signature to this and I also strongly encourage you to turn off the “Best stuff first” setting.

I think all content creators can relate to this.
In my opinion, I don’t think followers really understand how much your requests/likes/reblogs/etc. and random asks mean to me. It’s just so refreshing and nice to know that people enjoy what I’m doing and support me.
People that go the extra mile and send an ask or message letting me know they liked my stuff honestly makes my day. I love reading tags and stuff…it’s honestly so cute….
And people who ask about how I’m doing or send me random questions or cute asks….I just want you guys to know it honestly makes my day. I just love all the interaction and such. It makes running a blog so much more enjoyable.
And Fanart/Fanwork? Honestly that’s one of the greatest things to receive. To everyone that draws or writes, please don’t feel too insecure to send it end! No one is going to criticize you over quality. It’s so sweet that you even thought about making something…I will always appreciate it no matter what, and I’m sure all other content creators feel the same.
